Encoding problem… Please stand by

Ahh, the joys of it all! If you read any of the posts here, you will see there’s with certain characters. Wordpress has decided apostrophes should be store as “’s” and has changed all of them. I’m working to change them back, but any advice would be very much appreciated!

Do you use Microsoft Word to compose your posts? Word’s smart quotes and n-dashes (those long dashes) which are from the Windows 1252 code page will cause encoding problems when your pages are being declared as UTF-8.
