Read the Web Worker Daily Comrade!
There’s a blog you should have on your Google Home Page if you want to make this whole business on the Internet thing work - Web Worker Daily. I started paying more attention to this blog when Mike Gunderloy started writing for it a few months ago because Mike has been there, done that and has a million t-shirts to show for it.
What has Web Worker Daily got for you, other than a vaguely Soviet Art look? How about these posts in the last two weeks:
- Tip of the Week: Create an Idea Bank - a great idea for any microISV.
- 12 Ways to Use Facebook Professionally - another thing microISVs need to get read into.
- Weekend Reader - with a bunch on interesting posts for microISVs.
- 6 Firefox Extensions for Web Workers - accessorize your favorite browser for the kinds of things you do.
One of the things that hits me day in and day out is how different are the problems, concerns, interests and viewpoints of people who through what they do - like running a microISV, selling their music on the net, or running a net-centric business - have citizenship Online, and those who don’t. Do you have more in common with someone living a non-Internet life next door to you or someone halfway around the world who works online?
It’s nice to see we have our own Daily!
