Getting back to (microISV) business.
That’s the sound of me getting back into the business of making this blog the single best resource on the Net for microISVs and software startups.
First, after the less than resounding reception that my last WP theme got, I hope - really, really strongly - this new theme meets with a better fate. I hope to have the issue in IE with the header resolved in the next day or two; sooner if someone reading this can suggest what’s wrong.
Second, expect to start seeing news you can use here again, both from me and other guest posters. More on trends you need to be aware of that could affect your microISV. More on how to market effectively your desktop app or web 2.0 site. More on ways to work more productively with less stress and hassle.
Last, but not least, I’ve wrapped the private beta of my first ebook, and thanks to the generous help of 10 of my microISV and blogging friends, I should have it available here for sale within the next 48 hours. Wish me luck!

The page doesn’t validate, which can’t help.
It appears that IE doesn’t cope with the page being XHTML — in particular the “clear” style seems to be ignored. Changing the DOCTYPE to HTML 4.01 Transitional fixes the header bug, though it also loses the left margin down the whole page. I suspect that is easier to fix — the page still displays fine in Firefox.
